Ex-Bigg Boss contestant Mandana Karimi has filed for divorce from her husband of 5 months, Gaurav Gupta, alleging forced conversion, domestic violence, and harassment.
Mandana Karimi one of the finest contestants in Bigg boss 9 is again hitting the headlines, the Iranian actress who got married to Gaurav Gupta in January 2017 filed for divorce. She says that she still loves the guy but she is not understanding that why he is not letting her in the house.
“Honestly, I love my husband very much. I haven’t filed for divorce. I just want to tell him that you can’t take a marriage so lightly. You can’t manipulate and throw me out of the house. I am his wife and I don’t understand why he isn’t allowing me to enter my matrimonial house? I have been staying out of the house for almost 7 weeks. He recently told a common friend of ours that I don’t want Mandana in my life and I will file for divorce. If he wanted to divorce me within 6 months of our marriage why did he marry me,” said the Iranian model.
Bollywood life reports: Not just Gaurav, but her mother-in-law disliked her. She was barred to enter fro entering her home. She has also filed a complaint against her mother-in-law for harassment.
“I was thrown out of my matrimonial house seven weeks ago. I made desperate attempts to reconcile with them, but my in-laws didn’t allow me back. Gaurav has cut me off,” she told Mid-Day.
According to a Times of India report, Mandana also alleges that she was asked to quit her career after getting married. The Bollywood Life report claims that she was forced to convert to Hinduism before her wedding, which Mandana refused to do. Post her stint in the reality show, Mandana has appeared in a handful of films, and music videos.
